KUBO Education Academy supports teachers and STEAM specialists in acquiring the competencies necessary to foster student success and engagement. This collaborative course offers teachers the opportunity to learn, practice, and master new skills that will help them deliver effective STEAM experiences using

KUBO Education solutions.

The KUBO Education Academy will use solutions such as KUBO Coding Starter Set, KUBO Coding + Set, KUBO Coding ++ Set, KUBO Coding Math Set to allow teachers understand the full potential of the sets and how to use them to conduct Character and Civics Education (CCE), Robotics & STEAM Lessons in your school.

You will also be utilising the secondary resources provided by KUBO Education to facilitate your lesson planning and lesson material preparation such as:

 


All KUBO Education Academy courses and trainings are facilitated by certified KUBO Education Partner Educators in Duck Learning. Every course teaches effective strategies for using KUBO Education solutions, including product knowledge, lesson planning, and tips for efficient classroom management.

Teachers will also receive a Certificate of Completion after the course!

 



Led by a certified KUBO Education Partner, this course will prepare you to conduct STEAM and Communications/Civics Education lessons and co-curricular activities using KUBO Education sets. Experience how you can facilitate inspiring hands-on online and offline lessons that support your students to both achieve curriculum goals and boost 21st century skills like creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving in a collaborative environment.

 

 


COURSE OBJECTIVE:

The training will enable teachers to:

♦ Implement and utilize KUBO Education solutions in day-to-day teaching

♦ Align the use of the material to curriculum standards

♦ Create effective blended learning lesson plans 

♦ Understand how KUBO Education resources facilitate students’ learning and educators' classroom management

 

COURSE ASSESSMENT:

♦ After the course, teachers are required to send in a 1-hour video of themselves conducting a class.

♦ Certificate of Course Completion will be provided upon 80% course attendance and 60% scored in the final assessment.

KUBO® Education Professional Development supports educators in acquiring the competencies necessary to foster student success and engagement. This range of collaborative courses offers educators the opportunity to learn, practice, and master new skills that will help them deliver effective STEAM and Communications/Civics Education experiences using KUBO Education solutions.

All Professional Development courses are facilitated by certified KUBO Education Partners. Every course teaches effective strategies for using KUBO Education solutions, including product knowledge, lesson planning, and tips for efficient classroom management.




Face-to-Face training is delivered by certified KUBO Education Partners in Duck Learning (the official partner of KUBO Education in Singapore). The trainer provides the tools and resources educators need to successfully integrate KUBO Education’s classroom solutions into existing STEAM curriculum and daily lesson planning for hybrid learning environments. Official KUBO Education courses provide educators the opportunity to experience lessons from a student’s perspective, master classroom management, and explore best practices in classroom implementation.

Courses support ongoing educators training and development needs. We insure high-quality training experiences through continuous monitoring of teacher training.

The training will enable teachers to:

♦ Implement and utilize KUBO Education solutions in day-to-day teaching

♦ Align the use of the material to curriculum standards

♦ Create effective blended learning lesson plans

♦ Understand how KUBO Education resources facilitate students’ learning and educators' classroom management

A 3-day course consists of the following key elements:

♦ Hands-on learning

♦ Two-thirds of the course includes hands-on activities

♦ One-third of the course includes presentation and discussion

♦ Curriculum-relevant coursework

♦ Lesson planning

♦ Approx. 10 - 20  hours of training, including breaks (depending on chosen set/target age group of students)
